Chosen by students from a list of local artists. 2011. Kentucky Foundation of Women; Grant: “It Takes a Village”, a traveling art interactive performance/exhibition, empowering through participation, $3,000 - 2008-09 Paducah Area Artists Competition: Best of Show, 2007. Southern Illinois Artists Biennial Open Competition and Exhibition: Merit Award, 2007 MacMurray College: I researched and drafted a proposal for a pre professional program leading to post graduate work in a graduate school for art therapy. My proposal was presented to the faculty academic committee of MacMurray College in October 2002.The academic committee accepted the proposal. Pre Art Therapy became a program of study at the college utilizing classes already available in studio art and psychology with the addition of intern hours among local organizations dealing with special populations.
